![]() ![]() Creator Glen Schofield wanted to make the most frightening horror game he could imagine, drawing inspiration from the video game Resident Evil 4 and films including Event Horizon and Solaris. Gameplay has Isaac exploring different areas through its narrative, solving environmental puzzles and finding ammunition and equipment to survive.ĭead Space was pitched in early 2006, with an early prototype running on Xbox. ![]() Set on a mining spaceship overrun by deadly monsters called Necromorphs following the discovery of an artifact called the Marker, the player controls engineer Isaac Clarke as he navigates the spaceship and fights the Necromorphs while struggling with growing psychosis. It was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows as the debut entry in the Dead Space series. We could also blame EA for their tight deadlines.Dead Space is a 2008 survival horror game developed by EA Redwood Shores and published by Electronic Arts. Just in case anybody is going to say that. ![]() This is certainly not a "bug" or a "glitch". So it seems they put NO EFFORT WHATSOEVER into creating/testing this gamemode. If ANYBODY from the developer team would have played one(or just the first 4 chapters) playthrough of this gamemode, they would have noticed. This makes it also impossible to 100% this gamemode. As you can't play coop, it is impossible to get those. But what is still in there are those collectibles from the coop missions which are not blueprints or weapon parts(artifacts, text logs, circuits.). ![]() Things such as weapon parts or blueprints can't be obtained in this gamemode and as a result are not in the "progress & unlocks" of each chapter. After that I was looking for another challange, the so called "classic" gamemode, in which you can not play Coop and you can only craft "classic" weapons from the previous games. Here is the story: I played the normal campaign and 100%ed it. ![]()
